My insatiable curiosity is the catalyst for my creative output.

I am fascinated by the interplay between polar opposites, the seen and the unseen; negative and positive; the still and the transient, the dark and the light. What happens in the ‘space between’?

Attempting to render the intangible tangible is a repeated endeavour within my practice. I seek to bear witness to a fleeting moment, event or activity that often only exists in the trace it leaves behind.

By exploring and documenting the resulting form, mark or narrative, I begin to understand the conditions and behaviours that shape or alter the appearance, properties or identity of a material or place.

Most recently my work has evolved to include an exploration of my own identity, observing my body as a sensory landscape, a testament of experience. I am at once tool, material and context.
